Meet Dr. Appelbaum
Dr. Appelbaum is a Harvard-trained, board-certified cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist. He offers comprehensive cardiology services with a focus on preventive care, fitness and wellness. He assists in expanding MHB’s mission to deliver world-class healthcare and help men live their best possible lives.
Dr. Appelbaum provides expert cardiovascular consultation with in-office diagnostic testing including stress/fitness testing, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, cardiac computed tomography (CT) and heart rhythm monitoring. Dr. Appelbaum has created an innovative approach that combines the best of classic bedside medicine with modern technology and cutting edge treatment, allowing for effective care that can be tailored to individual needs.
Dr. Appelbaum comes to MHB with over 15 years of experience as a member of the Division of Cardiology, Non-invasive Cardiac Imaging and Testing Section at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA. He served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, providing his skills as a clinician, teacher and researcher. He has co-authored many original research articles, written book chapters and lectured on topics in cardiovascular disease around the world. Dr. Appelbaum remains affiliated with BIDMC and Harvard and welcomes all existing and new patients to his practice.
