I think I still have some more work to do on this one, it may be too long in the body, or it’s head too small, but for now here it is, one of my favourite falcons, a white morph Gyrfalcon.

The most beautiful owl images…
Not the best pic, but a lovely bird nonetheless 👍
I couldn’t bare it, so my Kingfisher drawing got its properly fitting frame today 😂
Predators have been returning to the Cairngorms Connect partnership area over the last few decades. For example, there are now 11 species of regularly breeding raptor, including Golden Eagle, White-tailed Eagle, Hen Harrier, Peregrine and Merlin.
To study this changing community of predators, and the implications for prey species, a group of organisations and individuals are collaborating in the Cairngorms Connect Predator Project. This project aims to monitor predator and prey populations and find out how they exist together in the landscape.

📷 This striking image of a Golden Eagle landing on a deer carcass was captured by a trail camera on our partner’s Wildland Limited’s Glenfeshie Estate as part of the predator prey study.

Ronnie Smith here’s the Changeable / Crested Hawk Eagle I photographed, it was so very beautiful (as you can hopefully see), but doesn’t look so much like the one you tagged me in. I’m going to have read up and see whether they can have colour morphs / variations like buzzards perhaps? 🤔
one of the most beautiful birds!
Whilst I was at it, I framed the cats eye drawing too, atleast it’ll keep it safe and smudge free.
Poor Kingfisher drawing got relegated to a frame and mount that doesn’t really fit the black mount I’d given him. It’ll keep him safe for now anyway, and maybe I can just sign and write a little blurb on the black mount and keep it as is, we’ll see 🤔
Different frame and mount for my drawing of the Peregrine, think I prefer this colour frame, but still have to tighten that top left hand corner of the frame. ©️Sue Fulton
Change of mount & frame for my pastel drawing of the Golden Eagle, a tighter crop accentuating her eye etc. ©️Sue Fulton

Still rejoice in the moment I captured my own photograph of one which was completely unexpected as I packed my stuff away after a not very successful bird photography trip. Awesome, industrious little creatures ❤️ My pic in the comments.
Stoat and weasel guide: how to identify, habitat, diet and best places to spot Stoats and weasels are fast and ferocious, with sinuous bodies and short legs. Part of the mustelid family, learn how to identify and where to see in the UK
Temporary frame with double mount as I’m without glassine paper to protect the drawing at the moment, next best thing was to frame it and enjoy it 😀

Ok, as you know, this started as a simple quick sketch, but I liked it enough to try and improve it. Think I’ve finished, or taken it as far as I can at least seeing as it didn’t start life as a serious piece of work.
