When I was at my lowest point in my extended dark night of the soul every avenue of my life was blocked.

I somehow dragged myself to a spiritualist church, determined to try absolutely everything to get my life back on track.

After a few weeks I got my first message from an ancestor. From the description the medium gave I knew she was communicating with a beloved uncle who had passed a few years prior.

Are you a healer?

When did you first know this? Or are you still flirting with the idea that you like to help others?

I was a little slow to put the pieces together. Even as I started doing some energy healing, I still didn’t think there was a career in it for me.

At this time I already had a bunch of books on healing that I had loved, and more on visualization and the power of the mind from way back in high school.

I guess it took a fair deal of self healing to even begin to heal my own distorted perception of myself and my own fear of the judgments of others.

Some people are perhaps lucky that they feel the calling from a young age, often being drawn to the more traditional healing careers in medicine, nursing or physiotherapy.

Others never answer the call, but always think about it.

I’m grateful I finally got started, I love what I do. Each day is a new adventure and every client presents possibilities to learn and to help.

As you move towards full soul expression individually you will encounter your self created resistance in your limiting beliefs, fears and adopted trauma responses.

This is exactly the purpose of your built in desire to express your soul!

It forces you to face that which is need of healing.

In the cases where the desire for soul expression has been completely subdued by your traumas, your higher self will guide you to heal by. Attracting similar experiences into your life. this provides you with opportunities to apply new insights to the repeated experience and to heal the past by healing the present.

Obviously this is challenging, especially when there are no new insights or wisdom to apply to the new situation.This can lead to a cycle of destruction where the test is continuously repeated and failed.

To break free from. The cycle of destruction we are encouraged, and implored to seek greater wisdom.

The simple willingness to seek answers changes the cycle of destruction into a cycle of learning. Sometimes that willingness only comes when we are completely exhausted by the cycle of destruction and finally lift our eyes to Godard ask for help.
