Here's one of the things I really like about our country home - A White-tail Deer fawn (Odocoileus virginianus) peers from its hiding place in the brush on our backyard hill.

Hungry Tree frog
A Cope's Gray Treefrog (Hyla chrysoscelis) takes advantage of the yard light above our garage door to hunt for insects attracted to the light. Gray treefrogs - both Eastern (H. versicolor) and Cope's - can change their color through grays, browns, and greens to better match their surroundings.
