Here is an example of a regular Insanity move versus a modified version. Not quite ready or capable of that high intensity? That's okay because you can modify EVERY move if needed. Lets get moving.....
TUESDAYS

PUMPKIN SHAKEO BALLS
1 cup dry, uncooked old fashioned oats
1/3 cup all-natural Pumpkin Puree
1/3 cup all-natural Peanut butter, or Almond butter
1 shakeo vanilla serving
1 Tb raw honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 Tb cup small chopped walnuts
1-2 Tb dark chocolate chips, try the organic...actually taste much better!
approx 1/4 cup coconut milk (read below)
Mix...then add almond or coconut milk to correct consistency to form balls...approx 1/4 cup.
Place in fridge or freezer to set and store.

Love a glass of sangria every now and then! Here is a recipe from BB that will fit into your nutrition plan:
Triple Berry Sangria
Total Time: 2 hrs. 11 min.
Prep Time: 10 min.
Cooking Time: 1 min.
Yield: 8 servings, about 6 fl. oz. each
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. dark honey (like buckwheat, avocado, or wildflower)
½ cup brandy (or cherry brandy)
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh blackberries
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 (750-ml.) bottle pinot noir wine
6 small strawberries
6 fresh mint leaves
Preparation:
1. Combine water and honey in a small bowl. Microwave on high for 15 seconds; mix until well blended.
2. Combine honey mixture, brandy, blueberries, blackberries, and sliced strawberries in a large pitcher; mix well.
3. Add wine; mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
4. Evenly add sangria to eight glasses. Add a strawberry and mint leaf; serve immediately.
Watermelon smoothie
*2 cups frozen watermelon cubes
*1/2-1 cup water
*honey-optional
*mint-optional
Quick, refreshing way to stay cool and hydrated. Doesn't taste too bad either...
Yoga Day 2: stretch. Stretching is my least favorite activity sooo I had to really struggle to stay SLOW and with the program. Vytas says its the basis for flexibility in YOGA so I listened. Hamstring stretch thanks to my hubby's loner sock collection.

Beachbody on Demand gives you those so if you do not want to repeat the same program over and over again and build a library of DVDs (hey it happens!) then think about BOD. I honestly love the variety and ease of use. They also offer programs that are ONLY available on BOD.
I just went to Verizon yesterday to increase my data plan to a new 30G plan because I ALWAYS get charged overage fees. They have some better plans now so check it out if that is your deciding factor.

This is where I am accessing the 3 week YOGA retreat! No more awkward gym feeling learning these moves!
The 3 week YOGA retreat has started on BOD. One thing I used to think BEFORE I started PiYo was that yoga was easy, boring, & not worth the time. Hey just being honest! Boy was I wrong. This is a challenging art that has my muscles twitching & burning. These isometric holds build strength & work muscles that are rarely isolated. Time to learn a few things & become a WISE one....
Always a GOOD reminder for school season! Plan ahead or grab a whole food...apples, bananas, oranges, etc.
3 weeks of YOGA & 1 week of H&C starts this Monday!
It is part of the Health Bet challenge through Beachbody. I bet on myself that I can drink Shakeology 5 days a week and workout at least 3 days a week. If I achieve this then I get a piece of the jackpot. Not a bad deal right?! Just to try to live healthy!

I never dreamt I would be a YOGI!!! or a RUNNER!!! or a FITNESS INSTRUCTOR!!! & definitely not a NURSE!!! I totally failed gymnastics and dropped out of track. I ran the other direction when my friend took me on a nursing school tour. I squirmed at the thought of being up in front of people...instructing...being judged. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and fight those fears.
