🎶🎵🎙 Karaoke Contest Alert! Do you enjoy singing? Would you like to sing and win CASH!!! The Hernando County Fairgrounds will be having a Karaoke contest during our 4th of July Stars and Cars Event. Register to be a contestant! There is a $15 entry fee which includes your parking fee on 4th of July and your entry fee into the contest. Contestants must be at the Fairgrounds on July 4th by 4:30pm

We will be having a child karaoke contest (ages 4 to 17) and an Adult contest. Come showcase your talent!!

Soooooo .... I am getting super excited for the July 4th Celebration at the Hernando County Fairgrounds.
It is always a great full day of family fun ... derby ... and fire works.
Best fireworks display in the county ... put on by the same company every year for a while now!!!!
Well this year we will be having all sorts of different entertainment for the day. And I am so excited to share it with you my friends so you can start planning for it.
I will be in the Jackson Building all day .... cuz as my health would have it ... being outside will be brutal for me in all sense of the spectrum. So we decided I needed to be inside for the day.
The Jackson Building has been the kid zone for the last few years of July 4th Celebration. All sorts of games for the kids to do and a bit of a break from the heat.
Well this year we are going to have Karaoke going on in the Auditorium ... and we are having Owaza Martial Arts in the Jackson Building.
I have been speaking to the owner of Owaza Martial Arts Jim Rivera for about a month now. And let me tell you .... he has some pretty amazing things planned for the day for y'all to watch and also to participate in!!!! Trust me .... y'all DO NOT want to miss this!!!
I am just getting so excited for all the things that will be going on that day I just couldnt contain my excitement any longer!!!!
In addition to Karaoke and martial arts demos ... there will be a petting zoo ... monster truck rides (I so want to do this cuz this guy is the best!) ... best food trucks in the area ... vendors ... music and more!!! All followed up at the end of the day by the fireworks display.
So stay tuned ... I will be telling more as we get closer to the date.

I haven’t been to this farm yet. I hope to go soon. They have several u pick items. Others are from the wholesale market. That way you have a one stop shop. Many of the farms are doing this the past few years.
Just a hint here … if it isn’t grown in the ground it is usually hydroponics. Produce grown in this method are subject to molding very quickly. They also don’t taste the same as grown in the ground or from aquaponics.
There are differences. Know what you are getting when you buy at the store. Organic is usually hydroponics.
