Damn… Larry Collins is gone. I could to into long eulogy of how much the Collins Kids meant to me, but so many others have penned much better words than I could come up with. I’m so glad I got to see and play with Larry, thanks Shorty Poole for the introduction, Amy Griffin and I were so starstruck that we forgot to get a picture! Thanks for the amazing music you made with sister Lorrie and all the incredible guitar wizardry with Joe Mathis. Here’s a fave of mine… R.I.P.

Tropicana Joe is one of the kindest, most entertaining, fun loving guys I’ve ever known. A likeminded soul with a penchant for exotic clothing like myself, how could we not be pals. I have a new band, I wrote a song in his honor. When I found out he was having some serious health issues I figured, let’s not wait till spring to release it. I’m putting the links on the comments as someone said it will beat the algorithm that way.
