Thursday night at the powerboats was an unlucky lucky night for the team first race with only 100 yards to go to the finish and in the lead the red flag was raised race 2 last lap and in second place red flag so a lot of bad luck there race 3 finished fourth as I did in race 4 so we come to race 5 finishing second and unlucky Jonny Brewer who stoped on the first lap with fuel problems ment we scrapped a third place on the night well done Madeline for second place and Mason who took the win. Sorry for the late update

Now getting over the disappointment of last Thursday night racing very limited numbers of boats out but 6 GT30 was the largest class. using a never before unused prop proved to be a nightmare for us on the first race finishing last and the second proved to be even worse when we failed to get the boat up on the plane and again finishing 20 seconds after the others so with the help of Brad Leeson we change back to the 2023 prop finishing first this time. Many thanks to sponsors and team 21 for all there help but a huge thank you to all the time keepers that Rarely get a mention and without it would not give me or the other not so fast boats to compete week in week out.

Unfortunately due to an extremely high tide and the strong winds we’ve reluctantly had to cancel this evenings race meeting.

Thanks to all the volunteers who had already given their time up to support the club - we go again next week from 6pm with FREE ENTRY on the gates 🤞🏁

Racing off tonight

Team Eastpointsports spent the weekend at the British Nationals at Oulton Broad
and not expecting too much and proved to be the case on the Sunday when the Prop failed to get the boat off at start and finishing 6th out of 8 but our thoughts go to Brad Leeson who had a coming together with another boat and the damage was so severe meant that Brad could not race the rest of the weekend, on day 2 Monday Brad lent the team his prop and helped the team to a 4th and 5th finish but on the last race a problem with the Starter meant we were well behind the group and finish 7th, overall the team finished 5th which was better then expected, we would like to thank Team 21 Dawn, Rob, Nick ,Scott Gooding's and Richard Hibbert for all there help and hopefully see Brad back on the water soon, well done to the club for a great National event and to all of the volunteers.

Today Darrel Hibbert went testing at Bedford
The team have finally realized what prop is the best and have sent it away to Dave the blade and hopefully give us that extra speed we are looking for.
