MEET THE POTTERS: Nate Saunders is returning to the MN Pottery Festival for 2021. Come see Nate and 35 other amazing potters the weekend of July 24th and 25th at Masonic West River Park.
Nate Saunders fell in love with creating functional objects with clay at a young age. His work has often been geared around broadening his technical knowledge in the field and is very process driven. His work has been shown at a variety of galleries across Minnesota and Wisconsin. He enjoys teaching and sharing his passion for clay with others and has led classes and workshops at various Twin Cities Art Centers. Additionally he has been selected to show his work at many reputable art fairs and annual group shows in Minnesota. Saunders’ work currently focuses greatly on creating a tension between fluidity and rigidity that draws inspiration from Brutalism and minimalist Mid-Century Design.
