Raven is such a sweet girl and we now know she needs another confident dog in her forever home. She is laid back but loved running and playing on her date! This girl is the total package - house trained, crate trained, fully vetted, spayed, and as sweet as they come 🧁

This pretty lady is still available for adoption and she is working on mastering her "sit" for the perfect family! She has gained some weight (and manners 🤪) since she came to us and is doing amazing in her foster home! Sparkles is about 6 months old, spayed, and current on vaccinations house and crate trained!

Good morning from pretty girl, Raven! ✨

Sadly we have had ZERO interest in her 😟 Raven sat in a shelter for over a year being overlooked because she's a bit shy, let's not leave that happen again!

She is super super sweet and truly a great dog. Our guess is she wasn't probably socialized as a pup and that's what makes her so shy. Her foster family says she's doing amazing! She is house trained, she loves car rides and her toys 🥹 Raven is around 2 years old, fully vetted, believed to be an American bulldog mix, and ready to find her forever family 🩵

We are officially accepting applications for Bentley!

Bentley joined us a few weeks ago as an owner surrender and is ready to look for the perfect forever family.
Bentley is neutered, current on vaccinations, and all ready to go to his new home.
Bentley is 3 years old, Corgi, and a certified good boy✨

Bentley has been great with everyone he's met including people and dogs. He initially chased the cats in his foster home but has since learned he's not to do that. He's 99% house trained but we feel now that he's neutered he will be good to go (he would sprinkle randomly when we first got him)

Bentley is crate trained but being crated is really not even necessary. He has an average energy level , enjoys being outside, he loves his people and likes laying on the couch or recliner and snuggling up. He is a medium size dog on short legs, we don't consider him a small dog.

Please keep in mind we do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. We try to find the best fit for each dog. We also have an adoption process that must be completed to be approved!

The Updegrave family puts together an amazing display and has so graciously decided to donate any proceeds to the Tremont Ambulance Association for their annual Santa Parade as well as to 2 Mutts! 🎃

Poor Stella just can't catch a break 😭 She was all set with her new family to officially be adopted and then last night, the resident female dog attacked Stella.

Thankfully both are okay but we, along with the family, agree that it's not the best fit for Stella since this incident.
We are looking for an immediate foster or foster to adopt home. We would like to move Stella as quickly as possible so there are no more incidents. Stella was not the aggressor in this situation but also did not back down from the other dog. She does get along perfectly with their male dog and had no issues with the female until last night.

Stella would do best with an active family or another active dog. A physical fenced yard would also be ideal for her. She's young and has an abundance of energy. She is doing well with house training as well as basic training. She does not like to be crated but is getting better with that as well.

We are still looking for a foster or foster to adopt family for Stella. We need someone ASAP. Things are not working out with the current family who has her and they are leaving for vacation. If you're interested please send us a message. We'd really hate to have to put her in boarding!

Stella has A LOT of energy and needs continued training. She is dog friendly but does play rough so if there's another dog in the home, they need to be able to tolerate her energy. A fenced yard or very active family is ideal for Stella. Anyone willing to help this guy out and foster him? He has been with the finder for 3 weeks and no one has come forward for him. He has no microchip and had no collar or tags. He gets along with the finders dogs and has been good with people as well. Believed to be a bit of an older gentleman . If you can help please contact us. Times have been tough for all rescues and shelters and we're certainly feeling it financially as well as with lack of fosters 😏 When the shelter sent us the info and picture of Rip (first pic) they said "this one needs a miracle"
The only thing that keeps us going is outcomes like this! We were determined to find him that "miracle" and we're pretty certain we nailed it!!
Rip, who is now Theo, is absolutely living his best life - in PJs!! 🤣🦈 We couldn't have asked for a better outcome for this guy 💙

Today is a very special day, our boy Rip is officially ADOPTED!! This guy came to us in January and he was super shy and not really sure if he could trust people. With a lot of love from his foster family, he slowly came out of his shell but the biggest thing missing was another dog to give him the confidence he desperately needed.
After some hiccups with a family that didn't work out, we decided Rip wouldn't be going anywhere until we were 100% certain we found the right family for him.

The Moreno family inquired about Rip and we had a super good feeling about them. Once we met them and their dog, Rowena, we knew they were nothing short of PERFECT! We're pretty sure Rip, now known as Theo, fell instantly in love with Rowena and his new family!!

Thank you to the Moreno family for giving our boy a chance and loving him as much as we do! Happy tails and congratulations to Theo and his new wife, Rowena 🤣🩵🩷

Happy Sunday from adoptable Leroy! Yes you read that right! Leroy still hasn't found his forever family and to be honest we're pretty baffled about this 😳 He is described as the perfect puppy by his foster family so our guess is he's not adopted because of the dreaded "Black Dog Syndrome"
Black dogs (and other animals) are the least likely to get adopted or chosen over lighter colored dogs 😕 It's a sad reality and we see it very often!

Leroy is a typical roly poly puppy who loves everyone and everything! He's doing great with crate and house training, he's 11 weeks old, current on age appropriate vaccinations and ready for his forever family!
