Hundreds of furry creatures in the Okanagan get to chow down on yummy meals, thanks to kind souls like Laura and her squad.

Meet SOCKS 🧦 (again)😳

We’ve tried a lot of things to get the word out about Mr. Golden Delicious but we STILL haven’t found his furever home.😣

Maybe we aren’t very good at our jobs...🤨

Maybe we haven’t expressed the sheer delight of waking up in the morning and realizing that you get to do life with a 💎gem like Socks!

Maybe we haven’t told you about his “potty-train-ed-ness”. Yah, like puppies are cool, but you know what is also cool? Not having to clean up accidents all over your new rug.

Maybe you haven’t read that his foster describes him as having “infectious joy” - I don’t know about you, but that’s one type of infection I would welcome. Come cough on ME, Socksy! 💦

We know that asking him to be placed in a home with another big pup might be part of the reason he still hasn’t found his furever family - but ask your dog. 🐶Trust me, they would love to buy what Socks is selling (loyalty, fun, the softest cuddle buddy, the list really goes on and on and on).

So, let’s try this again.

Let’s get Socks out of his foster home (which don’t get me wrong, is 🥰AWESOME, but let’s free them up to help another pup in need) and into his furever home.

Rica doesn’t just need a 3rd chance she DESERVES IT!

Our sweet loving girl is STILL up for adoption 🤯 She’s just under 2years old, between 45-50lb & is done growing. Can you believe it’s been over 1year since she has been in foster care?

She came to us as apart of our big transport in Jan 2022 as 8(ish)week old puppy with her brother(Costa). Her situation was very sad as her and her brother were shot at😡(who shoots puppies😩). So needless to say she has some fear with new situations, which causes her to be sensitive(I mean who wouldn’t be). However she has over come SO much and is being the absolute best girl she can be!

We have worked really hard with her rehabilitation. She knows many basic commands; sit, down, off, wait, stay, her recall is going well, loves to fetch and play. She great alert dog for the home that does not bark excessively when she’s told to stop, she does. She would LOVE to have a dog sibling(s) but isn’t a requirement. I mean…come on she’s a rock star🌟!!!!
She is not perfect(who’s actually perfect anyways🤨) she has some kinks from her past so she will need continued training and new exposure.

She would thrive with someone(s) who is active and loves to hit the trails as well as who wants to really put her to work as far as her obedience goes she LOVES to work for treats.
She is required to go with a person or family who is a confident and experienced dog handler. This is because she lacks confidence with new things, your confidence becomes hers.
Does well with kids ages 7 & up.
Upon adopting her you will be connected with our trainer and get 4 sessions paid for by the rescue to ensure her adjustment is seamless.
