Education at all levels and for all people is the key to success.
I believe that public education is the best education for children, for families and for communities.
Congratulations to Dr. Meeker and WIU-QC for getting this critical-need project off the ground.
Dr. Lindsay Meeker spoke on Monday’s episode of KWQC - Paula Sands Live about Western Illinois University’s plans to establish the Spanish Bilingual Early Learning and Family Empowerment Lab in downtown Moline. The early learning center will address a critical need for childcare in our community and create space for future educators in the WIU early childhood education program to apply learning and gain valuable experience.

As one of the coordinators of Western Illinois University's New Faculty Orientation and Mentoring Program, I can tell you that new faculty do amazing things at WIU. Dr. Alfonzo Cooper, new to WIU this past fall, is headlining a concert celebrating the beginning of Black History Month. Stream it live on Saturday February 5 at 5pm Central Time: https://lnkd.in/eBsjAYFC
