Cardano VS Eth

The battle has been raging for years about why Ethereum is better Cardano and vice versa and in between more blockchains have started building.
We CryptoRecruit - Specialists to Blockchain and Crypto Talent have a unique persepective as we can see the demand for talent and the truth is that right now it's roughly 95% Eth vs 5% Cardano. I know Cardano hasn't launched Smart contracts yet which explains much of the discrepancy but has it lost the race? Ethereum has the network effect and already has most of the crypto market building apps on top of it. Almost all of and are built on Ethereum and they are hard at work building Eth 2.0. Cardano on the other hand - many will argue has much superior technical advantages are taking the slow approach. One analogy would be to to look at how quickly facebook domintated and how very few competitors were able to to get a piece.

With this in mind who is likely to come out on top?
