So honoured to feature the song "Holy Christ was Born" on this year's GMIHub Family Christmas Vol 3 album. Unique to this song is that it was both written and produced by Legacy House Music's president and 's Dean of Music, . The song features the sweet yet powerful vocals of Alynthia Lewis, supported by a contemporary 'black-gospel" musical arrangement similar to the sounds of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. "Holy Christ was Born" is now available at gmihub.bandcamp.com. (PS If you want to hear more about how Stephen produced this song, tune in coming Monday November 21, 2022, 7pm ET on GMIHub Studio Talk)

Tomorrow is the day. Thanks to Colin Ward for this video promotion of my song "Promise", released tomorrow.
The “song writing process” has become a trending topic of conversation these days. In thinking about that, my process seems flexible and random, almost non-existent. But everything is a process, isn’t it. And the process needs to start at the beginning.
I write song about the things I observe or am curious about. They turn into song pictures. I am curious to unpack the things that seem like a mystery and I’m sure I’m not alone in that.
This morning I stopped on my commute to work to take a picture. I took a tip from my friend Perry Durrant and waved at the guy behind me as he passed. I took this picture. And this may be the start the process for a song. You never know where the picture will lead.

Songs offer a lens to the world around me. Music is an art form that contributes to belonging, healing and seeking. It is the very thread of the journey I have been traveling. I would love to share with you my experience in song.
I am a Christian and a musician. My songs reflect the world around me and the things unseen. In keeping with my belief that song is story and story is song, I am currently experimenting with themed musical presentations, titled Tapestry. Current available themes in this format are Traveler: The journey of life and growth (folk based presentation) and Abiding: Reflections on spiritual strength (faith based presentation). This would be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to host a house concert for friends and family. If this is of interest to you, feel free to email or call me to discuss your specific project.
As the current Contemporary Worship Director at Christ Church in Brampton, I am also available for worship consultation. This service would be beneficial for small congregations looking to introduce blended worship for the first time.
Here are a few of the events I have performed at in the past;
