On February 8th, in commemoration of Saint Josephine Bakhita's feast day, our school organized an awareness initiative to educate students about the issue of human trafficking. Activities included singing the song "The Power of Tathita K*m's Love" to emphasize the importance of love and compassion in preventing trafficking. Additionally, a question and answer session was held to raise awareness about the realities of human trafficking and ways to prevent it. Through these activities, our school aimed to promote understanding and empowering students to become advocates for ending modern-day slavery.

We are excited to be part of the 10th Rattanakosin Scout Jamboree at Vajiravudh Scout Camp, taking place from December 4th to 8th. This year, we have around 3000 scouts from Catholic schools in Thailand coming together for an incredible experience!

🕊️✨ In Sakon Nakhon Province,Thailand , we've launched a vital campaign: “End the Violence and End Human Trafficking with Love” at the Tha Rae Archangel Michael Cathedral. A white ribbon cutting ceremony symbolized our commitment to eradicating violence against children, youth, women, and human trafficking.
🤝 This event united government officials, leaders, students, and citizens, featuring activities and exhibitions to raise awareness. It aligns with the UN's "international day for elimination of violence against women" on November 25, underscoring our dedication to combating family and gender-based violence.

Celebrating Empowerment and Awareness: Talitha K*m’s Call to Action
As we mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we are proud to share a milestone in our journey towards empowerment and awareness. Recognizing the critical importance of education in combating human trafficking, we have successfully integrated awareness programs into school curricula.
This initiative has empowered over 3000 educators across 34 schools, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to understand and address the complexities of human trafficking. Our trained teachers are now beacons of awareness, enlightening young minds and fostering a vigilant, informed community.

🏆 Sisters Anti-Trafficking Awards 2023 🏆
On 31 October 2023, the inaugural Sisters Anti-Trafficking Awards took place in London, Farringdon, hosted by the Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP and Sir Mo Farah. On July 29, 2023, Sister Nitwada Onthed leads a crucial campaign against human trafficking, tailored for apprentices and Yaowanaree junior high school students. 🎓🤝 Held at SIHM's home office in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, we're empowering our youth with tools to combat this grave issue. Let's equip the next generation to protect themselves and their communities!
🌟 On this significant occasion of July 30th, the World Day against Trafficking, we are delighted to introduce the Talitha K*m Kids Club – an assembly of young minds uniting in the steadfast mission to combat the grave issue of human trafficking and online threats! 🤝
👧🧒 These students are not only acquiring knowledge but also taking it upon themselves to enlighten others about the utmost importance of safeguarding against human trafficking. 🗣️💻
The Talitha K*m Youth Camp, held on July 28-29th in the province of Tak, marked a significant milestone in our collective efforts to combat human trafficking. 🏕️ With 113 participants between the ages of 12 and 18, representing diverse backgrounds from four districts - Mae Sod, Mae Ramat, Thasong Yang, and Phop Pra - the gravity of this issue became even more apparent. 🌟
It is essential to recognize that among these earnest young individuals, some belong to tribal groups, adding to the urgency of addressing this grave human trafficking violation. 💪 Their unique perspectives and experiences underscore the need for comprehensive action and protection of vulnerable communities.
We're taking a major step in the fight against human trafficking in Thailand. By integrating human trafficking awareness into school curricula, we're empowering teachers to educate their students effectively. 💪🇹🇭
