It’s long past time, & . BU Suno endorses an open letter written by , addressed to President Brown and the Board of Trustees. The letter demands that they remove Standish’s name from the building at 610 Beacon St and rename it to Wituwamat Memorial Hall.
BU cannot claim to honor and respect Indigenous communities while simultaneously refusing to honor and respect their tangible wishes; the time to act is now.
To further promote the mission of inclusivity, in this letter, CASARI suggests that BU implements the CARES framework that uplifts, culture, accountability, representation, education, and support. Promoting an anti-white supremacist culture and establishing a commitment to anti-racist initiatives are some of the many ways that BU can strive to be the “equitable and inclusive” institution it claims to be.

And just like that, we are wrapped on our 2021-2022 academic year performances!
What a year it’s been for Suno, from having more than half of our team starting with never having a practice in person, to arranging/learning pieces in less than a month, it’s truly been a year for the books.
We are sending the best wishes to our 2 graduating seniors this year, and , who we will miss more than dearly.
We appreciate everything you both have done for Suno, being a leader not only for the group, but for us as people. From being our mentors to our friends, you both have taught all of us what it means to be passionate about something you love.
There’s no better way to ring in friday than to have a Duet!
