How Much Protein Do You Need?
🤔 Did you know that the minimum amount of protein you should aim for each day is 0.36 grams per pound of your body weight? But if you are trying to build muscle, you want to eat closer to 1 gram of protein per pound of your ideal body weight!

Bottom line? If you’re active, try to have 20-40 grams of protein in each meal and snack.
- For most active men: 6-8 palm-sized servings of protein per day.
- For most active women: 4-6 palm-sized servings per day.

If this is a lot more protein than you are used to, we have some tips for you!

HOW TO GET MORE PROTEIN✨
☀️ Start your day with a protein-packed breakfast:
- Try a protein-based smoothie made with Greek yogurt, fruit, greens, and Life Shake.

February is Heart Month. Do you know how your heart works?
Imagine the vascular system as your body's plumbing. The heart is the pump, the arteries and veins are the pipes, and the blood is the water that flows through the entire system.

Over time, fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances found in your blood build up as plaque and stick to the arterial walls, much like how grease and other contaminants build up in your home's piping system.

As the plaque grows, your arteries narrow and harden, restricting the amount of blood that flows through them, which leads to your heart muscle not getting the oxygen it needs to function properly.
