I was able to convince my Nephy Pooh to stand still long enough to take a picture in front of his favorite painting. I think he used the opportunity to pose for his future album cover 🤔🤣

“Dreamland” was his top pick! “Dream Land” is a 62” x 38” Acrylic on Canvas. It’s fun for me to sit back and listen to what others see in my paintings or wanting to get inside my head and figure out what I was thinking when painting this one.

The thing is I wasn’t thinking at all. A lot of time when I am painting I am taken to a place where thought doesn’t exist. That was especially the case for “Dream Land” when I finally took a step back from being completely wrapped up in her, I surprised myself with what I had created.

“Dream Land” is a purely intuitive painting that I couldn’t even recreate if I tried. She’s on display at the gallery until May 22nd. You can also add her to your collection Just shoot me a DM! ❤️

These are “Pieces of Utter Joy” There are 15 total on display at my exhibition at the The come in two different sizes 4x12” (pictures here) and 6x6” and each one is Unique 🤗

They are perfect for hanging in groups or adding to your gallery wall or hanging in those small spaces you walk by every day. They’ll definitely add a piece of utter joy to your day.

My favorite pastime is taking random photos of people interacting with my artwork! Lol

This person isn’t random though. This is one of my Bestie Boos we have been friends since freshman year of college which was an absurd amount of years ago that we have decided not to mention any longer because it reveals our true age 😂

Hanging out with her and her kiddos, my babies, are like hanging out with my own personal fan club. They may be a bit biased but they love everything I create!

She’s usually one of the fist people that sees all my artwork but she was still in awe of seeing it all hung at the You can still go visit the gallery and vie the exhibit. This is “Finding Paradise” 62x38” acrylic on canvas! My painting typically come from a more intuitive space but my brain was all the way on for this one. And I’m not going to lie I struggled a quite a bit.

She went through many transformations before landing to where she is now. The struggled reminded me that when it comes to painting I don’t need to think to much I just need to get to the doing!

That concept works with a lot of aspects of life. I don’t know about you but I know I tend to overthink at times and it can be paralyzing. It can keep you from moving forward and doing what you actually should be doing.

So don’t get caught up in thinking and planning. Take action, changes and additions can be made along the way!

This is “Beach Day” a 16x16” Acrylic on Canvas piece! She is the piece I have painted with the raw canvas background! I absolutely love how the colors pop of the sandy background and it reminds me of a happy day at Myrtle Beach, one of my favorite places.

Still basking in the magic of opening night for A Candy Coated A Candy Colored Dreamscape: A Solo Exhibition by Sareka Unique!

I’m so thankful for who did such an amazing job hanging and presenting my work at and I’m so so thankful to and everyone who came and celebrated opening night with us! There is just something so magical about witnessing others as they take in what you have created!

At the beginning of the Pepperoni I bought my first sewing machine with the intention of learning how to use it and making masks out of my fabric.

Then I got sick and was in the hospital and when I got home and back into life I just wasn’t feeling it. So it just sits here for about 2 years now 🤦🏾‍♀️

I have so many things I want sewn and the created in me is all for it but the entrepreneur in me is like “really, must we do all the things 🙄” So instead of feeling intimidated by this machine sitting in my studio with the blue tape still on it, I’ve decided to sign up for a sewing class next month! Let’s see where this goes!

Hey! It’s just me posting a random selfie because I’m excited to actually see photos from the people I follow on my feed again!

Also because I’m stuck on a painting that I’ve been trying so hard to like but it’s just not happening. I stretched the canvas myself so I’m thinking about taking the canvas off and putting on a fresh new canvas lol and just creating something new lol.

I don’t get frustrated with my work often but this one is really bugging me!

I’m still over the moon about having my work displayed at I feel like a celebrity every time I go by there! 😆 it’s all great manifestation material for me having my own space. It’s coming I’m not sure when but I’ve had the vision for years and it feels closer than ever before!
