Disc Golf Friends - if you had a large but not unlimited budget how would you ‘present’ Disc Golf to a global audience - many of whom have no previous experience of watching DG?

This is one of many challenges/opportunities we are facing at The World Games (TWG) next year in China . We already have film coverage through International Sport Broadcasting; elite scoring and timing from Swiss Timing; an extensive equipment and facility provision from the Local Organising Commitfee (LOC) and a large staff and volunteer team.

So the questions we face are:
What image do we want to send to the world as the 15 top ranked countries ( https://wfdf.sport/rankings-disc-golf/ plus hosts China play for medal places?
How do we achieve that?
What equipment do we need to make that happen?

Estonia gave us an experience at the Festival last week; PDGA have a way of presenting their individual world championships; DGPT and DGN have their take - but howcan we make a Team event involving 16 different countries even more attractive.

BMX, Snowboarding, Breaking, Skateboarding have their own style of presentation at the Olympics as new sports - so how do we show off ?

As we move into a new era of the sport the time for change has come. Nige is moving away from the mail order of plastic; I am retiring from TD’ing; and we have a SALE of Discs and Baskets until they are gone!

The last 20 years or so of disc golf in the UK have been amazing, and it has been a privilege to be a part of that growth. Here's the 'however'... There comes a time when it feels right to try a new direction, and that's where we're at with Disc Zoo. We're sinking the putt on the 18th, clearing the shelves and winding down the online sales for now to explore new and creative endeavours.

The course at South Worden Farm will be opening to the public later this year where there will be a bricks and mortar shop for visitors to pick up plastic and merch.
