A lot of people have been asking us about CBD lately. Check out this incredibly informative podcast. Guaranteed, a lot of the questions will be answered.. but also, it made me want to learn more about this amazing plant and its powers 💚
All cannabinoids work by docking onto protein components of a cell. From there they have the ability to modify a receptor’s behavior and send signals to the brain about pain and sensory perception, emotion, memory, cognition, digestive, autonomic and endocrine functions.
Our bodies are actually built with an endocannabinoid system in place, ready to process chemicals like CBD! More than that, did you know that the human body actually produces it's own cannabinoids? Like CBD and THC, they can attach themselves to the receptors and regulate a wide variety of body functions

With the release of the proposed legislation on edibles, we've been busy brainstorming and testing new sauces. Here's one of our new ones... coming soon to a store near you ;)
Tabouli-ish salad with h**p seeds, chickpeas, corn, tomatoes and lots of parsley, dressed in red wine vinaigrette
Happy New Year all!!! We wanted to wish every one all the best for 2019.. the year edibles will become legal in Canada :) speaking of... have you completed the survey yet? It would really mean a lot to us and everyone if you took a few minutes to tell the government what you want. Currently the proposed legislation around edibles would make it almost impossible for us to sell our sauces.:'(
Proposed legislation reads as follows:
"For edible cannabis, there would be a limit of 10 milligrams of THC per discrete unit and per package. This would mean, for example, that a package could contain one edible product (such as a cookie) that contains 10 milligrams of THC; or two products that each contain 5 milligrams of THC."
This legislation is not only incredibly discriminatory towards edibles but will also cause a huge amount of extra packaging, waste and costs. Why can we buy a massive bottle of alcohol? Why isn't it sold in tiny 1oz bottles?? Or ci******es, why aren't they sold individually wrapped?
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey (there are only 13 questions and you don't need to answer them all) it would really mean the world to us if you did
