The Connecticut Digital Archive (CTDA) is a program of the University of Connecticut Library in collaboration with the Connecticut State Library.

After much consideration, we are moving the Annual Open Meeting to an all virtual event. We have seen COVID numbers on the rise in CT, and other meetings, like the Mass Library Association, result in significant spreads of infection.
We felt that changing our meeting to an all virtual event was the most prudent way to ensure everyone’s health and safety and enable us to still come together as a group.

We hope you have a great Memorial Day from everyone at the CTDA! Today we remember and honor all those who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Connecticut has several moments around the state honoring those who have died while serving.
The CTDA Open Meeting is featuring speaker Dr. Katherine Hermes. Dr. Hermes has taught history at Central Connecticut State University since 1997 and has worked on several projects surrounding Native American history in the state.

Sydney is a sophomore UConn Digital Media & Design major from Connecticut. She joined the CTDA and UConn Library team this past fall and has worked on a number of cool projects, including designing these spotlight posts!
