I've been immersed into the local MN music scene since fall of 2009 and it has changed my life! I always knew there was a special place for music in my life, but I've come to realize it is my true passion and one I won't give up on. Please join me on this musical journey for it is not always about getting to the top of a mountain, but learning to enjoy the climb! :)

Congratulations to all the finalists! 🎉
We had a wonderful service today filled with a great message, worship music and also the Northgate Choir. I attended college choir with the now church choir director, Tracy Hargreaves-Wojcik and what a wonderful full-circle experience to be in her choir after sharing so many memories with Dr. Lee Nelson. Makes my heart full! If you missed it you can watch here on this link. The choir sings “Worthy” written by Jeff Slaughter and arranged by Dennis Allen. Choir starts after the worship songs around 20:45!
In January, I got hit with new inspiration. It was time for me to take initiative and start a band. This is something I’ve been wanting for a while, however I have been in other local bands for the past 13 years! 😱
It’s been a combination of great experiences and big learning lessons. I’ve also met so many awesome people along the way.
Join us, as we embark on this new journey!
Rehearsals are in full swing (garage style)!
We are getting ready for acoustic summer shows playing a variety of favorites in several genres; country, rock, pop and soul. ❤️

Hey all of you friends that voted for the Midwest Country Music Organization 2022 recognition awards!
Just an update! So what happens next?
There is a nomination committee that narrows down all the votes to just 3 artists per category.
After that is announced, the members of the Midwest CMO have the chance to vote on the top 3 in each category. The winners are announced at the live event April 22 held in Arnold’s Park, Iowa inside the Roof Garden Ballroom!
Regardless of any outcome, I appreciate each and every one of you who have supported Ashalee Music this past year! Singing for an audience is my passion so thank you for coming to the shows!
