Well, a new year brings new exciting opportunities!

Meet Miranda Breedlove, the National Director of Bars - Hyatt Lifestyle, based in Chicago, IL USA.

We caught up with Miranda recently, and asked a few questions across hospitality, wellness and a cause she's passionate about. Read on:

WC: What's a cause you're passionate about supporting right now?
MB: I am working on a program called Zero Proof Zero Judgement which bring non-alc beverage programs to our hotels and mental health seminars and trainings to our F&B teams to help destigmatize the conversation around mental health and addiction in the service industry. I hope to grow this into a larger program that will serve the community as a whole in time.

WC: Can you share some of your best practices for wellness and coping with this ever changing world?
MB: It's important to take time to do something for yourself every day. Whether it's tea in the morning, exercise, a visit to somewhere you find peace, it doesn't matter as long as it's for you. It's also important to know that there can only ever be one priority and that it's ok to stop when you need to and start again the next day even if something isn't finished.

WC: You mentioned your superhero name, "Magnificent Miranda", is there another superhero in the industry you want to give a shoutout to?
MB: Carley Gaskin, Chicago (swipe left)
