The Undercocks

A sad note out of the blue. The Undercocks are very sorry to learn of the death of Big Chris O'Connor, a truly larger-than-life presence in the Sutton music scene and one of our most enthusiastic fans - pictured here before one of our zombie reunions at the Three Tuns, where his energetic antics during one of our shows were so intense that he, inadvertently, punched a hole in the ceiling.

We had many memorable shows at the Tuns and the Gate, and Chris was there for nearly all of them - often ending up on the floor among the band after tripping over the monitors, such was his legendary energy and joy while hearing the music he loved.

We'd like to thank Chris for that energy, and we pass on our deepest condolences to his family and many friends. We hope that he's having a rollicking good time on the Other Side.
