THIS part right here. This is when I've laid the foundation of the piece- the "grunt" work is done, and now I can start tightening + securing the piece.
When I reach this point during a wrap, the excitement physically tingles or pulsates in my fingertips. It sounds weird af to some, but my finger tips are tingly and almost buzzing- no lie. My hands get in on the vibes too! 🙌🏽

In THIS moment, I feel as though I can do anything and am ready for whatever is to come. Fearless.

Gaga is our newest addition. She's a Venus flytrap from Trader Joe's. 😆

I consider carnivorous plants to be an intermediate/advanced plant, when it comes to tending to their needs y whatnot.

For starters, flytraps do NOT need potting soil or soil of any kind.
Sadly, most come in soil. Not to worry, you can flush the soil with about half a gallon of water (preferably NOT tap water- don't ever use tap. Collect rain water instead; you'll notice a huge difference).

Venus flytraps require a substrate with absolutely ZERO nutrients.
Crazy, right?
Makes sense, considering it derives its nutrients from the critters it eats. 🪰

I repotted Gaga into some plain ol sphagnum moss. [*Do not buy Miracle Gro sphagnum moss bc it's enriched with their plant food.*]
I'll have to take an updated photo laters, but for now enjoy her majesty! 😍

I've decided to be more attentive to my energetic needs. (Gotta practice what I preach, ya know? 😆)
I've been taking some time for myself, and this weekend was the perfect weekend to ground myself and unplug for a little bit con Bae y mi familia. 🥰🤌🏽

Personally, that's an aspect of myself that I've been shining more light on and handling with loving care. 💙
