Does anyone else sit down to plan their week in between moments of chaos?
I’ve got two kids.. they are three and four (thirteen months apart 🫣) and there is a lot going on at any given moment. Combine that with my husband working out of state 5+ days a week and the list. gets. long.
But on Saturday mornings, while husband watches the news with the dog in his lap, and the kids play (mostly) nicely in one of their rooms, I can usually sneak an extra cup of coffee and work on my list for the week.
I used to use a list I would update every day, but let’s be honest.. that isn’t realistic. (and trust me, this thing looks a hot mess by the end of the week after I’ve added a dozen things and scribbled finished tasks off!)
In other news, this is my first piece of Rae Dunn and I’m super excited! For a couple bucks at Marshall’s which is even better - who doesn’t love a good deal?
Anyway, I see you Mamas. Not everyone has the same situation but that doesn’t mean anyone has it any easier. We are Moms. And we are badass. And probably tired.

I’m about halfway decorated and I love it! This is definitely my favorite time of the year!

Have I told you about my deck squirrel? Long story short, we had a frequent visitor squirrel that liked to lick the salt off the deck.. and eventually he was named.. and got a bench.. and now a daily snack.. and a salt lick (not pictured). His name is Buddy and he’s pretty cool.
