Suitable for all levels of fitness, Bootcamp builds in fun, game-inspired exercises to keep you on your toes. Find out how motivating it can be to work together with other like-minded ‘campers!

Quite often during school holidays some mamas decide to bring their older kids along. It's a great way to spend the day and promote healthy living with your little ones and just have a bit of fun :)

Maternal mental health week is an important time for us to raise awareness and support for the emotional well-being of mums. It provides an opportunity to destigmatise mental health struggles that many mums face, such as postpartum depression and anxiety! 🧠
At Sweaty Mama we have a culture of support, understanding, and compassion. We create a safe space and community for mums to share their struggles and seek the support from each other.
It’s absolutely critical that mums prioritise their own mental health and seek support and guidance when needed. As a brand, raising awareness for maternal mental health is very important.

What do you think of this season so far mamas?
Today's class was so busy and it was so wonderful to see so many happy smiley mamas and babies working hard!
We even added a wee extra track in this week working on our Biceps, Triceps and Shoulders! 💪

Have you had a C-section and wondering when and how to get back into exercise? 🤔
Here's 5 things we advise...
1. Women who have delivered by C-section should wait 8-10 weeks before doing any formal exercise (i.e classes, gym etc.) Low intensity exercise such as walking or deep core breathing can be introduced before this.
2. ALWAYS make sure you've got the green light from your GP and have been signed off.
3. Start low and gradually build up. Don't start with anything that will put excessive stress on your incision and weak pelvic floor. Especially intense abdominal exercises like that can have a negative effect on your weakened abdominal muscles.
4. If you experience any pain or it's uncomfortable, speak to your GP straight away
5. We will always only encourage you to exercise at your own pace, when you feel emotionally and physically ready to return!
April is Cesarean Awareness Month which is a worldwide campaign to educate society about surgical births!

What's everyone up to this Easter weekend?
Motherhood can be lonely & it isn't talked about often enough...
The reality is that many mums out there really struggle with isolation and loneliness whilst trying to navigate the challenges, being a new mum brings. It's okay to admit that motherhood isn't always sunshine and rainbows and if you're feeling lonely in your journey, know that you're not alone!
