Story time...
A caregiver’s mother broke her hip and it was all hands on deck. Having to care for her children, this was a stressful time that greatly affected her mental health.
She was able to unload everything on our Care Guide, Kelly, who empathized and shared things she had gone through as well. The caregiver explained her fears while Kelly listened and came back with a plan, and resources that could help.

To everyone that thinks that they aren't a caregiver... What is a caregiver? 👇
🔹 A caregiver may be caring for an older parent…
🔹 But they could also be the parent of a child with disabilities.
🔹 A caregiver could be the spouse of someone with a medical issue
🔹 A caregiver could be long-distance, and live far away from the person they are helping…
🔹 A caregiver might not call themselves a caregiver.
🔹 A caregiver is also a father caring for his child with autism.

Today, we’re celebrating Blair Whitman, our CS VP, and Lauren Kessler, CG Manager, who brought an incredible project to life in our office in Northbrook, IL!
Homethrive: Where We Thrive at Home 🏡✨ - Our Thrivers shared photos of where they thrive at home for work, along with their locations.
Blair provided minimal direction to encourage creative responses: send a photo of your WFH area, your view from your WFH space, or your dream WFH setup—pets and kids are welcome!
Here is a small sampling of the great photos the team sent. 📷
Our team showcased this on a big board in the office and will share it at our upcoming in-person meeting as well.
Cheers to thriving at home with Homethrive and living these strengths out every day! 🎉
Amazing day in Chicago, connecting with caregivers and hearing their powerful stories! 🙌
Our awesome CSM, Sarah, had some great conversations, showing how Homethrive can make caregiving easier and more manageable.
The highlight? Hearing directly from members already using Homethrive. They shared their caregiving journeys and how our Care Guides have truly made a difference in their lives.
This is what it's all about—real people, real impact. 💙
One mom was drowning in to-do lists—until one call changed everything!
✈️ Tara recently moved from California to Nevada, and was navigating care for her two children with ADHD.
She was overwhelmed with a list of dozens of providers trying to find a therapist for her 12-year-old daughter.
➡️ Our Care Guide, Stefanie, stepped in and spent over 5 hours calling and vetting providers.
Stefanie found an in-network therapist with availability the following week and also coordinated appointments with a dentist, orthodontist, and pediatrician.
With this support, Tara could focus on her new job while caring for her children.

Our Story
Homethrive was founded in response to the leadership team’s experiences caring for aging parents. Despite careers spent in healthcare, it was still nearly impossible to know where to go, who to trust, and what was best for our aging loved ones. Homethrive exists to take the uncertainty out of caring for an aging loved one and help them thrive at home with dignity and purpose.
