Another year in the books, (3 years )last minute decision to run Midwest Canine Obstacle Run, The Woods Fitness Park, so glad we did it.
Took 2 dogs, and surprisingly not my 2 that I normally take
Thor is home struggling to walk and Cheyenne goes everywhere so Demon and Big Cypress German Shepherd Rescue Sapphire made the trip.
Neither one does water well!
Both ran amazing runs!
So proud of these two
This run was a typical Florida swamp run, muddy princess mud, mud and some more mud, surprised we didn’t find some shoes along the trail. lol
We had so much fun, accomplished a lot of obstacles, built a lot of trust, and the almost impossible - me running the course twice 2times 6 + miles me oh no but oh yes.
Hats off to those that run this 3 times for the beast mode you guys killed it!!
2 was enough.
Demon and I managed to place 1st, in our age category (old! Don’t ask, just old)
Tunnels, water, mud, plunge, more mud, car, A frames, low crawls, more mud, dog carry, hills and tire row to name a few obstacles.
It’s a long drive but worth every bit of it.
