Sadly, today we learned that our beautiful Merlin had crossed the rainbow bridge.

Merlin had been coming to us for years, he had so many friends here, such a sweet and gentle soul.

Today there have been a lot of tears, but also many warm and wonderful memories.

Our thoughts are with Merlin’s family. Their whole world revolved around him and he will be deeply missed.

Run free Merlin, you were everybody’s friend and you lived a life full of love and happiness. We were blessed to know you.

Sadly Phoebe finds herself in search of a new home having lived there for approx 10 months.
The reason for this is that she can no longer live with the resident Cocker Spaniel. Her current owner reports aggressive behaviour from Phoebe to the extent where the two dogs now have to be separated permanently. Phoebe can be selective with dogs in general so it may be best if she is the only dog in the family.

We’ve been working on social skills and calm behaviours. Sometimes their play style was overly boisterous.
Today I put them together and their behaviour was impeccable! Both have done exceptionally well 💚

‼️Meet Arnie, ‼️🐶

He is a 8 years of age Rottweiler who is now looking for a new home. 🏠
He is up to date on his vaccinations, is neutered and microchipped.
The information we have been given about him is that he is being rehomed due to the family expecting a baby, Arnie can be boisterous and nippy around younger children and so would need a home with older children only.
Arnie can be selective with other dogs and reactive toward them whilst on lead. He is house trained and not destructive in the home however potential adopters should be aware that this dog becomes anxious around loud noises such as fireworks, so measures would need to be put in place to help him cope with this. Arnie is affectionate and thrives in a structured and calm environment.

Arnie does have some food allergies and these can be discussed to avoid any issues which include ear and skin problems.

For the last two weeks solid I have been working on Mouse being calm and patient at all times. This morning I began to transfer that training into a more distracting environment. We walked for an hour or so across the farm fields, he’s on a long line because I don’t want him making a nuisance of himself and I don’t want to undo any of our work together. I think he did incredibly well and I was impressed, the fields are full of rabbits and a million things he has never smelt or seen before.
