5 months postpartum for this mama 👏🏼
Renee is a close friend of mine and I got to watch her go through her pregnancy and her postpartum journey.
I’ve seen how uncomfortable she was at the end of her pregnancy, how she was sleep deprived in the early months of postpartum, and how her body was literally shared with another human for over a year (pregnancy and breastfeeding)

Which is why I am constantly preaching for you ladies to track your cycle.
“But what if I’m on birth control?”
Super common question and I’m going to answer it here to the best of my ability with the research that is out there.
If you are on birth control you still have a cycle.
What birth control does is it prevents you from ovulating (if you’re on hormonal birth control aka the pill)
Or if you have the IUD it thickens the lining of the cervix so nothing can get in. (Non hormonal birth control)
So with either method your body is still going through hormonal ups and downs so changing your exercising and diet to your cycle is still important and will be beneficial.
Cycle syncing is easier to do when you are not on birth control but it is possible if you are.

Can you believe this is a 6 month transformation?!?
I have been working with Aimee for a few years off and on and something big happened in her life that made her realize she wanted to take her health more seriously.
6 months ago she purchased one of my programs and has been putting in the work every single day.
She has created new healthy habits, she eats healthy 80% of the time, and she exercises regularly.
Her transformation shocked me when she sent me these side by side photos. I am so proud of her!

Her weight only shifted slightly but as you can see she completely changed her physique.

My clients crushed this challenge and it’s only only because they followed their programs but they have knowledge about their bodies as a women. They ate and worked out in sync with their menstrual cycles.
They also have the mindset not to focus on the scale or setting unrealistic goals.

Ladies,
Chasing skinny over strong is the worst thing you can do.
This will not only make us weak and brittle, it will be detrimental for our hormones.
We need to add as much muscle as possible to our bodies before our bodies start naturally start breaking it down.
If you are under 35, please go and add muscle to your frame.
If you are over 35, please go and continue adding muscle. But remember that after 35 the body doesn’t grow muscle as quickly and it becomes harder as we get older. So do it now!
When we under eat our bodies are not getting the key nutrients we need.
This will cause an imbalance in our hormones which can cause infertility, early menopause, PCOS, and many other hormonal disorders.
