Together with RJB,MOSCARILLO'S,JW SALON,TORRINGTON COUNTRY CLUB, VALERIE MANOR,HATFIELD JEWELER and community volunteers I am pleased to announce “The Butterfly Affair”, the 4th annual
spring benefit to support The Center for Cancer Care Fund, Inc. “The Butterfly Affair” will take place on June 1, 2012
from 5:30PM-8:30PM at The Center for Cancer Care along the Joyce M. The event will include appet
izers, desserts and a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The event will additionally include a Raffle,
Silent Auction and a Butterfly “release”. Currently, the following businesses have generously confirmed their financial support to this year’s event: The
Torrington Country Club; RJB Contracting; JW Salon, Moscarillo’s Garden Shoppe and Valerie Manor Health Care
Center. We would like to ask for your support as a sponsor or contributor to our Silent Auction. Last year the event attracted over 400 business and community leaders and we proudly presented a check in the
amount of $32,400 to the Center for Cancer Care Fund. 100% of these funds are designated to support critical
needs of cancer patients either living or receiving treatment in the northwest region of Connecticut. The Center for
Cancer Care Fund Inc. is tax exempt with a 501 (c) 3 status under the IRS code. The tax identification number is 51-
047072. The Center for Cancer Care Fund (CCCF) began with generous donations from families of patients cared for at The
Center for Cancer Care and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. CCCF supports cancer patients in a variety of ways in
addition to awarding financial assistance to patients for emergencies such as food, rent, transportation, utilities,
medications and other emergent needs as determined by clinician and case managers. Personally, I know all too well the effects of cancer and the value of the CCCF; this year I am celebrating my 4rd year
in remission. I thank you for your support and dedication to this important cause. Please contact me at [email protected] or
860.496.8458 with any questions. I look forward to your participation in “The Butterfly Affair”. Sincerely,
Jonathan Nevin
