So....the last two groups I took formed so quickly and through just word of mouth that I never had time to publicize and open them up to others! I'm headed to Venice for two weeks, just for a vacation for me.

On my to do list is to plan the upcoming trips and begin to publicize info. So if you've been meaning to travel with me, this next year will have some fun options. I've discovered a new spot in Fiesole that ALL in both spring groups agreed was the highlight of the trip. Lots of fun things to come....

Trips are taking shape for the Amalfi Coast. I wanted to send a link to the lovely restored farm house where we will be staying. It is just beautiful and close to everything! The farmhouse is divided into separate apartments for guests' privacy. The trips will happen in early April and again in mid May. I will have exact dates posted soon. Please contact me if you have an interest in this itinerary.

Visita guidata alla Certosa di San Martino sabato 20 settembre 19/09/2014

Thank you to everyone who attended the tasting at Fustini's last night. It was lots of fun and I enjoyed meeting you all. I will be planning a meet-up for anyone who couldn't attend or was there and wanted more information. Stayed tuned for details....

Meanwhile, I'm sharing this post. It was sent to me by the hotel I use in Napoli and I always take my groups here for a visit. It is in Italian but the pics are fun to look at! Check out the Covo Degli Angioini as well. I just love that hotel and they treat me and my guests like family!

If you've never been to Napoli, you must go! Everyone I take ends up telling me they prefer Napoli to Rome and I have to agree. Napoli is amazing....

I’m announcing a special event….. A tasting of Italian olive oils and vinegars at Fustini's in the Kerrytown Market & Shops on Thursday, September 18th from 6-8 pm. I’m partnering with Fustini’s and will be on hand to chat informally about my tours in Italy…. There will be some great Italian hors d’oeuvres, fresh fruit, and other treats.

There is no cost to attend this event, just call Fustini's to reserve a spot 734-213-1110 or send me a message here!

The trip to Orvieto is taking shape. The dates will be in mid October, details to come....Meanwhile here are some of the sites and activities I plan to include on the vacation.

A visit to the famous Duomo, a day trip to visit the beautiful Marmore waterfalls and a visit to the underground grottos of Orvieto.

Just back from Italy and I have a whole new season of great trips in mind. I will be updating the page asap. I found a beautiful Villa in Orvieto where I can cook great meals for us all, this trip to Orvieto will also include a daytrip to Assisi and three days in Rome.

Another trip will be based in the hillside tuscan town Fiesole, with a view of Florence and the Duomo that is not to be missed! Fiesole is a hidden gem, with Roman and Estruscan ruins, an amazing monestary and prices and weather that far surpass Florence.

In the summer Florence is an oven, packed with tourists and everything is terrribly overpriced. Fiesole is the real gem of Tuscany and a quick bus ride down to the center of Florence still gives you access to all the Florentine sites. You can then return to the tranquillity of Fiesole, with it's cool breezes and lovely views.

There will also be a trip to Venice and another to Napoli and the Amalfi Coast, stay tuned for details!
