Cruise packing hack-take a shoe organizer on your next cruise, hang it over the bathroom or entry door. Super handy for small or easy to grab items.
I love taking magnets and magnet hooks to organize things on the metal doors on my cruise. I also take a magnetic white board so that I can leave notes.
Cruise ships have specialty restaurants. These restaurants have varying cover fees ($20+). Specialty restaurants have some awesome possibilities from sushi to steak houses. I use the specialty restaurants if I get a cruise promotion or I have a special occasion. I’m pretty happy with the yummy options from the Main dining room. Thoughts?
Did you know if you freeze water in a water bottle they will let you take it through security at the airport? I do it every time. You have to throw it away if it is in liquid form.
My favorite thing to see in Hawaii are whales. In case you want to see them, the whales visit Hawaii starting in December and head to Alaska in April
Which Hawaiian island is the best one to visit?-It all depends on what you like to do. Maui-has humpback whales, snorkeling, and the road to Hana. Oahu-has Pearl Harbor, shopping at the farmers market and the Polynesian Cultural center. The Big Island-is known for volcanoes, manta rays and botanical gardens. Kauai-is exciting to visit because of the Napali Coast, awesome snorkeling and beaches. Lanai-has Hulopoe Bay and garden of the gods. Molokai-is less developed and has a more authentic natural vibe.
I love them all but my favorite so far has been Kauai and tubing through the old plantations. What’s your favorite?
The best time to visit Hawaii is in the Fall. Fall has the best prices and smaller crowds.
I need sand and sun.
Oahu city pass. Yah or nay? Is it worth the money? Has anyone tried it?
