Meet Angela
Angela J. Foo is a registered dietitian, certified dietitian nutritionist, and restaurant-trained chef. After gaining a wide range of experiences in the food world – from editorial management to nutrition education to international nutrition aid – she indulged in her culinary passion by working in the kitchens of French, new American, and Japanese restaurants in New York City, including the health-focused, Michelin-starred restaurant, Rouge Tomate Chelsea.
Working as a restaurant chef has enabled Angela to understand how to create menus and dishes with flavors and foods people enjoy while being a dietitian allows her to provide clients with the nutrition knowledge they need.
Angela has a dual bachelor’s and master’s degree in nutrition and an undergraduate minor in psychology. She completed a supervised practice program at the School of Urban Public Health/Nutrition at Hunter College in New York City. Her practice is currently located in Long Island City, New York. Her services are available in-office, in-home in New York City, and virtually.
