Have you recently adopted a puppy or new dog?

Getting your new pet into a training class is very important. This will start the foundation of your pet's behavior. Did you know that as early as 6 months in age your pet is an adolescent? This is why you see dogs being surrounded left and right because they go from cute puppies to having unwanted behaviors. I see this all the time! You're not a bad dog owner if you surrender your pet. This just simply means you are uneducated and never had the help you truly need.

Most of my time is volunteer work. I'm passionate about educating and keeping these pets in homes and adopted.

I cant stress enough about hand-feeding your pets! If you tell me you don't have time to do enrichment feeding or spending 15 min a day training while feeding. Please reconsider being a pet owner!

Please take the time and effort and get your pet socialized and trained.

Its all about communication and positive rewards. Having a normal conversation with your dog isn't unusual actually it gets your pet interested in you. Talk to your pet and reward them for anything they do right! Punishment doesn't work ! Spanking doesn't work! Building up your dogs confidence works!
