80 years ago today, the Allied forces joined in a coordinated operation unparalleled in human history. Much of Europe had been conquered by tyranny and oppression when thousands of troops, many not yet 20 years old, landed in Normandy, France to begin its liberation. Out positioned, these forces scaled cliffs, withstood a battering of gunfire, and suffered many casualties. Slowly, and with great courage, they took the cliffs, beat back the enemy and in so doing helped to win the war and free a continent.
Today, on this anniversary of D-Day, we honor their bravery, their sacrifice, and, of course, their memory.
I feel a “win” coming!
Wishing a very happy birthday to our incredible National Co-Chair, Catherine Whiteford! Your leadership and dedication inspire us every day. We are so grateful for your tireless efforts toward our organization! Enjoy your special day! 🎉🎂

***Statement by Camden County GOP Chairman: Tom Crone***
The recent decision by the Colorado Supreme Court to disqualify Donald Trump has raised concerns among Republican voters about the sanctity of our Constitution and the fairness of our elections. We believe that our party should have the right to choose our presidential nominee without interference from outside forces, especially an activist court. The Colorado Supreme Court's decision undermines this fundamental right and sets a dangerous precedent for future elections.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. In South Jersey, we saw the Democratic Party attempt to influence our Republican primary this past June and support shadowy phantom “conservative” candidates in the November general election. These actions threaten the very foundation of our republic and must be stopped.
It is time for us to unite against the real enemy of our republic and Constitution: the Democratic Party. Our focus must be on beating them at every level of government, from school board to the White House. We cannot afford to let infighting distract us from this important goal, our unity is our strength. We must work together to ensure that our elections are free and fair so that our Constitution is protected.
We are confident that we can and will achieve this goal. By working together and upholding the principles of the Constitution, we can protect the integrity of our election process thus securing a brighter future for our children, our county, our state, and our nation.
N.J. teachers could get fewer performance reviews. Here’s why. Tenured teachers with good reviews would not be evaluated again for two or three years.

250 years ago this weekend, a small group of American colonists, some allegedly disguised as Native Americans, sneaked aboard three ships in Boston Harbor. Frustrated by Britain levying taxes without the consent of the colonists, the group dumped 92,000 pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor.
In what became known as the Boston Tea Party, this courageous act by the colonists is considered to be the spark that lit the American Revolution.

Penn’s Leadership Resigns Amid Controversies Over Antisemitism The president, Elizabeth Magill, and the chairman of the board of trustees, Scott L. Bok, are leaving after intense pressure from donors, politicians and alumni.
“In 1931, a rabbi’s wife, Rachel Posner, photographed the family’s brass menorah on their windowsill in the northern port city of Kiel.
Opposite their apartment was the N**i party’s regional headquarters with a large sw****ka flag hanging menacingly from the facade.”
On the back of the snapshot Rachel wrote an inscription:
“The flag says ‘death to Judaism,’ the light says ‘Judaism will live for ever.'”
In this unprecedented time of antisemitism and hate against our Jewish friends, neighbors and family it has never been more important to stand in solidarity and support. History is important, especially the worst of it. This is why we should never censor speech, remove symbols, nor tear down monuments, they must be used to teach the next generation about the past in order to avoid making the same mistakes in the future. We must do better.
Camden County Republicans wish our dear friends, neighbors and family the happiest and blessed Hanukkah. As always, Love Lives HERE!!!
Let us always remember the sacrifice of those dedicated to keeping our nation free.
