Our amazing bees are producing some beautiful honey this year. As well as our wildflower honey we also have spring honey, much paler in colour includes rapeseed, hawthorn, apple, cherry blossom and other early Spring forage around for the bees.🐝 a milder tasting honey, 🍯TOP TIP Always use a wooden or plastic spoon in your honey, to protect the healthy enzymes naturally found in your pot of gold!

Apologies, it’s been a very busy few months. Once again celebration cakes have been flying out the door on a weekly or perhaps better put daily basis and I’ve not taken any photos! Yes I know this is how a business builds and I’m quite happy to admit I am very novice at social media and getting my customers their order is my priority not spending hours on photoshop 😬. I did manage to take a couple of the last months but the more complex/time consuming/wedding cakes alas they take everything out of me and the last thought is getting my phone out to take a pic when I’m fretting over heat/humidity/timing and of course that joy/happiness a little bite of sponge can bring. I’m grateful for all your support 🙏

Wow what a day yesterday! From supporting the 🐺(sorry I didn’t get to see you all, meals to prepare) to celebrating Fathers Day with our Afternoon Teas and lots of you in between for lunch and cake! Again this year the hard core are hosting the Wild West ultra this Saturday. 40 miles of coast path, trails and who knows!
Heading towards mile 28. Again this year we will have our little unofficial feed station for runners, offering free water, sweets, cake bites. If your supporting there is ample parking and the cafe will be open that day for our full menu, drinks, cakes and ice cream and bacon rolls. Roads are open as usual. Cash and contactless payments. We are not an official feed station just locals helping out a cool event. Good luck 🤞 🐺
