We had a wonderful time at the Legacy School Supply Giveaway with Memphis and Shelby County schools, along with the many vendors in attendance. We wish everyone a safe and productive first day of school!
Beginning August 7, 2024, TennCare and CoverKids members under age two will be eligible to receive up to 100 diapers per month as part of the TennCare Diaper Benefit.
Any TennCare or CoverKids member under age 2 is eligible for the benefit.
The benefit covers up to 100 diapers per month from the list of approved brands/types of diapers.
Members will be able to access the diapers beginning August 7, 2024, at participating pharmacies across the state of Tennessee. Check back on August 7th for a list of participating pharmacies.
Members will obtain the diapers from the pharmacy counter at participating pharmacy locations.
A prescription is NOT required
Covered Diaper Brands
TennCare will cover four major brands during the initial launch of the Diaper Benefit. Within each of these brands, specific package sizes and types of diapers will be covered. The brands will include:
Huggies (available at go-live)
Cuties (available at go-live)
Pampers (coming soon)
Luvs (coming soon)
Pharmacies will select which diapers they carry from the approved list. Speak to your pharmacists to see what brands and types of diapers are available.
Over the coming weeks, TennCare will be adding additional package sizes and types of diapers from these four brands as we work to grow the list of covered products.
Shannon Walker is our COO at CCHS. She previously served as the Regional Vice President of Operations in Madison County, Tennessee, and spent 13 years on Active Duty in the United States Air Force as an Independent Duty Medical Technician. Shannon holds a Bachelor's in Health Sciences and a Master's in Health Administration from Trident University International. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Reginique Green serves as the Chief Clinical Officer of clinical operations at Christ Community Health Services, Inc. She is a board-certified family medicine physician of 25 years, and her calling and purpose is to love, encourage and provide health care to underserved and under resourced patients and their communities. She attended Xavier University of LA for her Undergraduate studies and obtained her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She specialized and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Southern California.
