Think you have tight Hip Flexors?
Are you constantly stretching your Hip flexors but they always seem to feel tight?
Your Hip flexors may not be tight, they may just be WEAK!!! Let's be honest who trains Hip Flexors? Their weakness may mean they fatigue quickly during your workout (particularly running) causing you discomfort. Sitting at a desk/prolonged driving etc all cause the Hip flexors to shorten and become weak and inhibited.
Try this simple hip flexor strength and activation exercise with a mini Thera band.
Focus on high reps 3x 30 per leg

We're working on his lat strength and activation by isolating the lat and using high reps.

Squeeze the shoulder blades together, try perform around 20 reps with with 1.25 kg plates to feel the burn!!!

Using decline eccentric one leg squats to build patella tendon strength and endurance
My client Damien performing his rehab for his patella Tendon pain.
Damian's knee pain occurred due to increased mileage in a short period of time (43 miles in January) when he's not used to that volume of running.
We're building his Glute strength and endurance to reduce his knees collapsing when running and squatting and building patella tendon strength to prevent reinjury.
