We've created 6 rotoscope short films together. RotoJam:
"Roto" coming from the word, "rotoscope." An animation technique where every frame is traced by hand.
"Jam" riffing off traditional "animation jams" where a bunch of animators come together to create animation. We are a collective of animators who rotoscope animation together. We are creative thinkers breaking away from the traditional "traced line" look of rotoscope animation. Our premise is to display innovative and creative ways of rotoscoping by thinking outside the box!

Our Story
RotoJam: "Roto" coming from the word, "rotoscope." An animation technique where every frame is traced by hand.
"Jam" riffing off traditional "animation jams" where a bunch of animators come together to create animation.
We are a collective of animators who rotoscope animation together. We are creative thinkers breaking away from the traditional "traced line" look of rotoscope animation. Our premise is to display innovative and creative ways of rotoscoping by thinking outside the box!
How it works:
-Each animator has 5 seconds (15fps) and they will have 2 months to complete their animation. You may use any style/technique to rotoscope your bit
-When done, export at 1920x1080 at 15fps and send it via email/inbox/wetransfer
-All animated sections are then edited/stitched together and the jam is done!
