Nature Park is an up-and-coming t-shirt label based in Canberra, Australia. Our t-shirts are 100% cotton and screen-printed by hand using water-based inks, with the first print run taking place in December 2013. The label is owned and operated by Damien Stubbs and Lan Nguyen-hoan. Damien has over 15 years experience in the screen-printing industry and Lan has a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First C
lass Honours. HOW did NP come to be? We actually met in a screen-printing workshop. As we got to know each other at work, we discovered that we shared a passion for t-shirt design. Eventually we started dating as well as continuing to work together, this turned out to be a glimpse into the future. Nature Park was the spark that ignited out marriage – the day we came up with the name and logo was the same day that we got engaged. WHEN did this all happen? Nature Park was originally established in 2009. After a number of years of life getting in the way (we got married, changed jobs, moved house, got a dog, got a second dog, changed jobs again), now, four years later we’re finally back on track. During the latter half of 2013, we have been working very hard to set ourselves up to provide artfully designed t-shirts with high quality prints. Our very first three print runs have just made it into Sancho’s Dirty Laundry a week before Christmas.
