Riders Danika Brown and Kate Freethy made their way to the .eq year end banquet! It was a great time and it was so nice to meet up with other riders on the circuit! Novice rider Danika managed to place 5th overall in the novice division out of 25 riders and Kate pulled a 6th overall in the open division of 13 riders! We cannot thank our coach enough for all the support and coaching throughout the year!

Well after a lot sweat, tears, stress and hard work our show turned out just the way we wanted! The horses and the people seemed like they enjoyed the day outdoors in such beautiful fall weather!

Thank you to everyone who helped us out! All of our volunteers, horse donors, competitors, officials, and team members you are all amazing! 🤗🤩With only three of our teams members being able to be there all of your help was much needed!

As tomorrow is fast approaching we wanted to let everyone know we will have a food booth with some warm homemade Vegetarian chilli, Meat Balls, and Butternut Squash Soup! 🥣And for dessert…🤤 we will be selling Claire’s delicious Pumpkin Spice Cookies and Monster M&M Cookies 🍪 that she’s been baking all day! Thanks so much Claire! 🤩

Tomorrow is the day! We will be doing a fundraiser for the team by selling raffle tickets for a pair of Toronto Raptor Seats! 1 for 5$ 💰3 for 10$ 💰 Arm length for 35$ 💰

The Lakehead Equestrian team took on Sudbury this weekend! .equestrian had the best ponies out there that made our two competing riders very successful! In our open division: Kate Freethy received a 6th over fences and under saddle! 🌟🤩 In our novice division: Danika Brown placed 1st over fences and 7 under saddle! 🌟🤩 we cannot wait for everyone to be with us next Sunday to compete in our annual Pumpkins and Ponies show! 🎃🐴

Three of the Lakehead Equestrian team members made their way to Kildare Stables for the first OCEA show ran by ! Our results were as followed: Kate Freethy placed 8th o/f and 4th u/s in the Open division 🤩Danika Brown placed 4th o/f in the Novice division 🤩 and Maddison Mills placed 5th u/s in the Novice division 🤩

We are excited to welcome Heather to the team! was raised driving horses and we cannot wait to watch her grow as a equitation rider while riding in lessons with us!

For our entry division we have…. Hunter Chmilnitzky! 🎉 The Lakehead Equestrian team is looking forward to our up and coming season! We have a few more tryouts to complete so keep your eyes open for some new post to introduce some of our other riders!
