Beyond the Classroom is a reading platform that aims to accelerate student's reading through a premium online platform with one on one coaching!!

BTC is seeking an energetic coach who shares the vision of ensuring students are reading at or above grade level. As a literacy coach, you will play an integral part in supporting the literacy development of students and monitoring their progress. You will virtually connect with students during the given time on a video sharing platform and reinforce reading skills from a scripted mini-lesson provided. BTC desires a team player who has effective communication and engagement skills to facilitate a great learning environment.

To kick off our Fall into Literacy Campaign, we’re introducing Parent Tip Tuesday! This week we’re focusing on phonics. TheMeasuredMom.com The Measured Mom showed us how to play consonant bingo!

After dinner, this is a perfect bonding activity to reinforce foundational reading skills. Phonics are the building blocks for both reading and writing!

Tip: If your child needs help with their spelling, you want to focus on improving thier phonics skills. Misspelling simple words are an indicator that they need support in their phonics.
