I hope you are all well, it's been a long time since I've posted here in my little corner of Facebook.
I have finally made the decision to fully invest all my time and energy into my new Reiki Energy Healing business to be of greater service to others.
Which means...I am closing Little Fox Sews Lots at the end of this year in order to start afresh in 2024.

Lately I'm focusing a whole lot more on what goes inside these reusable bags 🌱
Caring deeply about reducing, reusing and recycling is one thing, but at the same time I want to be super mindful of what goes IN the bags, as well as ON and IN our bodies.
Learning Reiki has heightened this awareness for me, but I also want to make sure my young daughter builds awareness to how her body needs to be nourished in a healthier way at the same time as taking great care to be sustainable and respectful of this beautiful planet.
I'm shopping much less in the grocery aisles and taking the time to make homemade healthier snacks with no additives and ingredients that I can't pronounce and recipes with minimal kitchen skills or time required!
So, here's one of my latest favourite no bake granola bar recipes:
1 cup porridge oats or rolled oats
1 cup raw cashews or nuts
1/4 cup chia or h**p seeds
1/4 cup fairtrade cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
11/2 tsp vanilla extract (no alcohol)
2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (vegan)
2 tbsp dried cranberries, chopped
For nut free school snacks I replace the nuts with the same quantity mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds and add a little more oats. I play with the ingredients according to what I have on hand, replacing cranberries with other dried fruits and replacing the cocoa with unsweetened shredded coconut.
Lightly toast the oats in the oven at 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together well.
Press mixture down firmly into a lined loaf pan and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into desired bars or squares.
They disappear fast in this house, that's for sure!
