Worked on a feature film this weekend, and I have nothing but high praise for the talented cast and crew. It takes a village!
⭐️ Up at 5 AM to work on memorizing & crafting new scenes I got from the latest version of the script. They expanded my role!
⭐️ Arrive on set at 7 AM. Quick rehearsal for blocking of first scene (my last scene in the script) then off to hair & makeup & wardrobe. The crew is already there, setting up, and they’re fabulous!
⭐️ Back on set at 8:15 to film the scene with the star of the show. 3 person scene. We all get closeups 🤩 in addition to the wide and traveling shots.
⭐️ Head to 2nd scene (different location) which is a 2 person shot with me and the star. This is the scene I auditioned with so I know it like the back of my hand. The director let me play and it was so much fun!
⭐️ Break for lunch. I review my mini monologue for my next scene.
⭐️ Back on set to film a traveling shot of my mini monologue. The crew is freakin amazing. And the director is outstanding.
⭐️ Wrapped at 6:30. Long but very rewarding day.
I am so very thankful to be part of this upcoming feature film. Still riding the wave. 🤩

I went in for the Tammy Faye musical, and it felt good to get back to musical auditions.
