Holiday Reminders

PJ Day is Friday, December 15th. Wear your favorite pajamas to school that day.

We are still collecting mittens, gloves, and hats for our Giving Tree. Wear your favorite holiday hat or hair accessory on Tuesday, December 19th, to celebrate the season of giving.

Grinch Grams are still on sale. See the information that is being sent home for details.

Christmas Break for students is December 20 - January 2. Students and staff return on January 3rd.

Santa’s Workshop is right around the corner! We are looking for some elves to help run the workshop.

The Thanksgiving Lunch Schedule is CORRECT on the cover letter. The times on the tickets for 2nd and 4th are NOT correct. A new ticket sheet will come home today on orange paper. Please throw the green ticket sheet away. Return the ORANGE ticket(s) with payment by 11/3/23.

Tomorrow is make-up picture day for those who did not get their picture on 9/12.

Also ALL blanket orders must be in by tomorrow. The order will be placed at the end of the school day!

Orders for blankets & shirts MUST be placed separately. They are through two separate companies, therefore you must order blankets through a Flinn student OR stop by and place an order in the office. Shirts are only being offered through the online link.

Cozy up with a warm fuzzy Sissonville blanket! Just ask our students how soft it is! Contact a student or our PTA page to place an order for your very own blanket!

If you would like to order a “Sissonville Era” t-shirt, use the link provided below! You can simply have your shirt shipped to your home, or choose “pick-up” to have it sent home with your Flinn student.

**There is an area when ordering where you indicate a “student name” this is to help us with the pick up process and distributing shirts to students at school. If you are shipping your shirt to your home please just put the word “shipping” in that area.**

Flinn parents and community members,

The school is in the process of getting new mulch to help maintain the safety of our playgrounds. During this time, areas of the playground will be closed and those areas will be designated by caution tape and safety cones. If you are wanting to use the playground during the evening hours, make sure your child(ren) stays out of the restricted areas. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Our staff wore orange today for Leukemia Awareness month to support one of our own who has been diagnosed with leukemia! 🧡🧡🧡

We are so excited to see everyone tomorrow!

We are looking for some people to help out at the PTA booth from 4-5:45 tomorrow for Open House. You can even work a shift, so you can attend Open House with your child.
