These words couldn’t ring truer right now. Just jumped on a quick egg sammie for lunch and threw another pod into the Keurig. Off to painting more boards for this Sunday’s (Big C is on Papi duty, so I don’t have to worry about little fingers in paint or near saw blades today). We’ll be making custom signs all day at The Coast (with the help of our best friend COFFEE, of course)! We hope to see you there!

Today’s cocoa sipping, blanket snuggling and sharing, vintage Uggs and thick sweater wearing weather in Southern California is AWESOME!!!While it’s great for a few days, I gotta say, our little speck on the map is one of the best for beauty and its fabulous temperatures.
Our cute little California Love magnets are just perfect to remind all of us how luck we are to be here (or, to have been from or visited California). These little magnets are a treat for that friend who has moved away or as a reminder to the out of state college student that home is in their heart.

This weekend! We will be making and selling at a new-to-us venue in Long Beach. Can’t wait to see you

We are extremely excited to be part of in Long Beach this Saturday AND Sunday. Christian and I are getting down and dirty prepping reclaimed wood (cutting, painting, painting again, distressing, sanding the back of the boards, branding the back with our logo), cleaning and prepping metal embellishments (drilling and grinding the rough backside of each metal piece and even painting and sparking several out). It’s been fun but we are still getting used to our compact work space (my mom and I used to do everything in a three room barn…now C and I crammed it into our 10x12’ shed and do the painting and sanding in the carport. Blah blah blah! Enough about prep. Come gobble on over to spot #16 and get your holiday decor and gifts made on the spot. Will we see you on Saturday, Sunday, or BOTH days?!?!

Apparently, there are some strict child labor laws out there. As much as we want our little man to join his parents, we realize he still has a few years to go. We are looking for a customer service superstar to assist Far Away Hood in Long Beach, CA on November 13th and/or 14th. At times it can be busy, and since Christian will be Dadding after setup, we will need a little help in our booth during the shows. We are looking for a helper(s) extraordinaire to assist at each of these shows.
