You plan to print the downloaded pictures from the gallery, be sure to choose the high resolution download as the web-based download won’t print very well. The web-based download is fine for sharing on social media.

Parents: Individual pictures are ready for viewing! You will have 1 week to let Mrs. McCrotty know which image you want printed if you bought an individual print. If you do not let them know within a week, they will choose the best image of your player. If you realize your child was left out or they missed getting the pictures they were supposed to take, there will be a make-up photo session on January 24th. Just a reminder, this was a learning experience for the photography club. These kids tried hard, but remember...they are still learning how to edit and use lighting, et cetera. Again, there will be a make-up session on January 24th if your child was unable to attend the session or is missing an image. More details will be announced soon about the make up session soon.

When choosing your image to be printed, just email Mrs. McCrotty at [email protected] and tell her the name and image number on the photo. If you need your child to attend the makeup session, please email her and let her know this as well.

The AHS Photography club, along with professional photographer Melissa McCrotty, will be taking team and individual photos tomorrow in the AMS gym. “Our door upstairs will be locked, parents will have to park and come through at the bottom of our gym.” They have another event going on so we need to all enter through the bottom door.

Parents, coaches have rosters and should be reaching out soon to introduce themselves and tell you when practices are. If you haven’t paid the $45 registration fee yet, please pay the coach at the first practice or you can still cash app, $AYAbball.

Don’t forget today is the day for in person signups for pewee basketball. See you from 2-4 at the old gym. Cost is 45$ per player we will take cash, check, or cash app.

2023 Homecoming Dress Up Days
(Homecoming Week is September 26-29.)

FYI: Flyers will be sent home this week with students (grades 3-6) regarding registration for the upcoming peewee basketball season. We will do both online and in-person sign-ups this year.

Team pictures are in and will be sent home with students on Friday.

The Atkins Youth Association would like to say a special thank you to our basketball refs. Each home game the past several years, Michael Foster and Tyrone Willis have faithfully encouraged and taught our kids the game of basketball. As this season comes to a close, we wanted to let them know how much we appreciate them. Tyrone will be retiring this year so he can spend more time watching his kids play basketball. We wish him the absolute best! We are fortunate that Michael will still ref our games in the future. Michael and Tyrone - thank you for all you have done and do for the kids of Atkins and surrounding areas!
