Well, they did this morning in our mini championships! Good turn out and good fun for our last session before the holidays.

Dounby U14 win Caithness United anniversary tournament!
Brilliant football from all the lads and great attitude throughout. After losing 1-0 in the opening game they didn’t concede again, scoring 12 goals along the way. Final was a rematch v East End team they lost to in the first game. This time it was 2-0 in Dounby’s favour!
Thank you to Alan Turner for inviting us, for East End FC Caithness United FC Halkirk, Thurso and Invergorden for making it a really good, competitive tournament.

Three-peat! Dounby U15 win their 3rd league title in a row, but what a tight game! Well done, lads, for holding your nerve and pulling off the win you needed.

U11B from today.

Last day of u11 league today. A good solid season for the A team and we probably should have had a few better results than we did but the boys never gave up in any of the games and always worked hard until the final whistle, sometimes we just switched off at the wrong time. We also scored a good lot of goals considering we finished second bottom of a very competitive league. Missing from the photo is Arthur our GK as he was unwell this week.

And that’s that!
Last match of the U15 season for the B team and another fantastic performance from these young lads, full of effort, quality, hard work and never say die attitude. They came back three times from a goal down but ended up losing by the odd goal in 9.
